Biography
My interest in psychology developed during my first year of college where I learned about the fields of cognitive and developmental psychology. After graduating with my AA from my local community college, I transferred to Florida State University to continue studying psychology. While at FSU, I learned more about psychological research and took steps developing skills useful in the area with the goal to eventually continue my studies in a graduate program. After graduating, I worked for a year at the University of Memphis as a Lab Manager. I was then given the opportunity to begin my graduate program here at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. My current plan after completing the Master of Science in Psychological Science (MSPS) program is to move on to a doctoral program.
