Research Description
In the Minds On Social groups And Identity Cognition (MOSAIC) Lab, I work with Dr. Brenda Straka, leading the Multiple Identity Mindset Study—a study that examines how a multiple identity mindset (i.e., reflecting on one’s multiple social identities, such as gender, race/ethnicity, and SES) impacts social behavior after the cross-race interaction. What we learn could inform policies and interventions regarding interracial communications and teamwork in the rapidly diversifying society.
